Holidaymakers who lost money as a result of the collapse of Thomas Cook are being urged to sign up for their refund. The Thomas Cook Group collapsed in 2019 leaving an estimated 150,000 travellers stranded. The company has since relaunched with an online only presence but the Government has only recently set up a Thomas Cook claims site where anyone who may be owed money can submit a claim. Last November, David Chapman, the company's Official Receiver, urged the 'thousands' of customers and creditors to submit their compensation claims. Customers who booked with Thomas Cook Airlines, Group Treasury, Group Tour Operations, Money, MyTravel as well as Thomas Cook UK Limited are all being urged to make sure they file a claim. The Government's portal lists the different types of claims needed to qualify.
